About the role

We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Supervisor to join our Human Resources team at PT Widya Sapta Contractor. This is a full-time position based in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As HR Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of human resources strategies and initiatives across the organisation. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day HR operations, ensuring compliance with employment regulations, and contributing to a positive workplace culture that attracts and retains top talent. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on employee engagement, development, and overall organisational success.

Key responsibilities

1. Manage and coordinate recruitment and selection processes, including job posting, candidate screening, interviews, and onboarding of new employees

2. Administer and maintain employee records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection regulations

3. Support the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and guidelines

4. Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters, including leave, benefits, and disciplinary procedures

5. Assist in the coordination of employee training and development programmes to support career growth and skill enhancement

6. Process payroll-related administrative tasks and ensure timely and accurate compensation and benefits administration

7. Monitor and ensure compliance with local labour laws and employment regulations

8. Support the planning and execution of employee engagement activities and workplace events

9. Maintain positive and professional relationships with internal stakeholders and external HR service providers

10. Prepare HR reports and analytics to inform strategic decision-making

11. Willing to visit all project areas of the company

What we're looking for

1. Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in an HR role, preferably in a supervisory or coordinator capacity within a contracting, construction, or similar industrial environment

2. Bachelor's degree in HR Management, Psychology or Law is preferred.

3. Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, employment regulations, and HR best practices

4. Proficiency in HR systems and software, as well as Microsoft Office applications

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively at all organisational levels

6. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail

7. Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst collaborating as part of a team

8. Professional discretion and the ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity

9. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement

10. Fluency in English and Indonesian, both written and verbal

Preferred experience:

1. Experience in managing recruitment for technical or skilled labour positions

2. Familiarity with workers' compensation and occupational health and safety regulations

3. Previous experience working with contractors or in the construction industry
