Operating under the supervision of Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK), the company continues to strengthen its finance, governance, and regulatory capabilities as it expands its operations. They are currently seeking an experienced Financial Controller to lead Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) functions across multiple business entities while ensuring financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence.
The Financial Controller is a Director-level leadership position responsible for overseeing the company's end-to-end Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) operations across multiple entities. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, tax management, financial controls, and business performance while supporting strategic decision-making.
Working closely with Executive Leadership, the CFO, and regional headquarters in Shanghai, you will lead financial accounting, IFRS reporting, tax planning, treasury oversight, budgeting, internal controls, and financial process improvements. This position requires a hands-on leader who can balance strategic financial leadership with day-to-day operational execution in a fast-paced fintech environment.
Lead Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) operations across multiple business entities.
Develop financial strategies that support business growth and operational efficiency.
Build, lead, and develop a high-performing Finance, Accounting & Tax team.
Oversee general ledger, financial accounting, month-end and year-end closing processes.
Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Ensure compliance with PSAK and IFRS reporting standards for regional consolidation.
Present financial reports and business insights to executive leadership and regional HQ.
Manage corporate tax, VAT (PPN), withholding tax (PPh), and statutory reporting.
Ensure compliance with OJK regulations, Indonesian accounting standards, and tax requirements.
Coordinate tax planning initiatives to optimize tax efficiency while maintaining compliance.
Manage relationships with tax authorities, external auditors, and regulatory agencies.
Oversee cash flow planning, treasury activities, and financial risk management.
Strengthen internal controls and financial governance across the organization.
Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to business profitability.
Ensure strong financial controls across multiple legal entities.
Lead annual budgeting, financial forecasting, and variance analysis.
Partner with business leaders to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
Support strategic initiatives, investment analysis, and major business decisions.
Collaborate closely with the CFO and operational leaders to align financial strategies with business objectives.
Improve finance systems, SOPs, and reporting processes.
Drive automation and financial system optimization to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Continuously enhance financial governance and operational best practices.
Bachelor's Degree (S1) or higher in:
Accounting
Finance
Economics
Business Administration
Other related disciplines
Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CA are highly preferred.
Minimum 10 years of progressive Finance, Accounting & Tax (FAT) experience.
Minimum 5 years in a senior Finance or Financial Controller leadership role.
Proven experience leading Finance, Accounting & Tax functions across multiple legal entities.

Experience working in an OJK-regulated organization is highly preferred.

Experience with OJK regulatory reporting and financial compliance.
Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, treasury management, and internal controls.
Experience improving financial systems, SOPs, and governance processes.
