About the role

PT Asuransi Wahana Tata is seeking a Finance Staff to join our finance department in South Jakarta. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in supporting the financial accounting and reporting functions of our organisation. As a Finance Staff member, you will contribute to maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our finance team and directly supports the strategic financial objectives of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata.

Key responsibilities

  1. Recording and processing financial transactions in accordance with accounting principles and company policies

  2. Assisting in the preparation and reconciliation of general ledger accounts and subsidiary ledgers

  3. Supporting the compilation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements

  4. Verifying accuracy of financial data and identifying discrepancies for resolution

  5. Maintaining and organising financial documentation and supporting records

  6. Assisting with bank reconciliations and cash flow monitoring

  7. Supporting audit activities by preparing required documentation and schedules

  8. Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

  9. Contributing to the continuous improvement of financial processes and internal controls

  10. Liaising with internal departments and external stakeholders on finance-related matters


What we're looking for

  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

  2. Proven experience in financial accounting and reporting roles, ideally within the insurance or financial services industry

  3. Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel for financial analysis and reporting

  4. Solid understanding of accounting principles, generally accepted accounting practices and financial reporting standards

  5. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping

  6. Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks

  7. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and English

  8. Ability to work collaboratively within a team and support colleagues

  9. Familiarity with insurance accounting or regulatory requirements is desirable but not essential
