Material Preparation – Coordinating raw material requirements based on the daily production plan with the warehouse department and ensuring the quality and quantity of raw materials before storing them in the raw material area (PSA). Creating a material request (MR) for each required raw material and returning any remaining raw material to the store. Recording and checking the quantity of raw materials entering production based on the Material Request (MR) created by the Production Assistant. Reporting any delays in raw material delivery or deviations from the warehouse, and returning any remaining raw material to the store.
Material Counting – Controlling raw materials entering and leaving the PSA area to ensure the quantity and packaging are controlled. Recording the amount of material used and the actual stock per shift.
Stock Management – Coordinating with the Production Assistant to monitor the receiving and storage of packed materials.
Material Control – Monitoring material movement to minimize material loss/excess, material leaks, and ensuring that materials arriving from the warehouse are safe from pests, pallet damage, or material damage.
