Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Project Quality Management System in accordance with company standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations.
- Ensure all construction activities, materials, and workmanship comply with approved specifications, drawings, contract requirements, and relevant codes and standards.
- Lead and supervise the QA/QC team in carrying out inspections, testing, and quality control activities throughout the project lifecycle.
- Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Consultants, Clients, and Subcontractors to ensure quality requirements are achieved.
- Review and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP), Method Statements, Quality Control Procedures, and other quality-related documentation.
- Monitor site quality performance, identify non-conformities, and ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Plan and conduct internal quality audits and support external audits conducted by clients or certification bodies.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of quality records, inspection reports, test reports, and material approvals.
- Analyze quality trends and prepare periodic quality performance reports for project management and senior management.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality awareness across project teams.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and the company's Quality Management System.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 8 years of experience in QA/QC within the construction industry, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
- Strong knowledge of construction quality standards, inspection procedures, and quality management systems.
- Experience with high-rise building, commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality Management System and quality auditing processes.
- Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment and coordinate with international project teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and construction documentation/reporting systems.
- Good command of English, both written and spoken. Mandarin proficiency is an advantage.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Lead Auditor/Internal Auditor (ISO 9001) is preferred.
- Experience working with international contractors or EPC companies.
- Strong understanding of project quality documentation, material inspections, and handover procedures.
- Willing to be assigned to project sites across Indonesia as required.
