About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive (Agricultural Equipment) to join PT Agrisarana Jaya Perkasa. This is a full-time position based in North Jakarta, Jakarta. As a Sales Executive, you will be at the forefront of our sales efforts, responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding our market presence within the agricultural equipment sector. This role is pivotal to our business strategy, as you will be the key interface between our innovative agricultural solutions and our valued customers, directly contributing to the company's expansion and success in a competitive marketplace.

Key responsibilities

  1. Identify, prospect and develop new business opportunities within the agricultural equipment market segment

  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

  3. Present and demonstrate agricultural equipment products to potential customers, highlighting key features and benefits

  4. Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and quotations tailored to client requirements

  5. Negotiate terms and close sales agreements to achieve revenue targets

  6. Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets and KPIs

  7. Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity and customer needs within the agricultural sector

  8. Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions and pipeline progress using CRM systems

  9. Collaborate with the marketing and technical teams to ensure effective product positioning and customer support

  10. Attend industry events, trade shows and networking opportunities to generate leads and build brand awareness

What we're looking for

  1. Proven track record of success in sales, with at least 2-3 years' experience in a sales representative or sales consultant industrial equipment, agricultural machinery, or tractors.

  2. Willing to travel to branches and regions as required

  3. Strong knowledge of the agricultural equipment industry or demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical product specifications

  4. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex product benefits clearly

  5. Results-oriented mindset with a demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets

  6. Self-motivated and disciplined approach to lead generation, prospecting and relationship building

  7. Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) systems and Microsoft Office applications

  8. Strong negotiation and closing skills with the ability to handle objections effectively

  9. Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the Jakarta region as required

  10. Fluency in Indonesian and English (both verbal and written)

  11. High level of integrity, professionalism and commitment to customer service excellence

  12. Preferred experience in B2B sales or experience selling to agricultural businesses and farmers
