ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for a Senior Purchasing & Supply Chain Officer to manage vendor sourcing, procurement, and end-to-end supply chain coordination for our manufacturing operations. Reporting to the Global Production Manager, you will handle local and overseas supplier relationships, logistics, import documentation, and cost-reduction initiatives, while also supporting production planning and inventory accuracy (PPIC).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Identify and select local/overseas vendors, negotiate contracts and pricing, and monitor supplier performance to build reliable and alternative sourcing strategies.

2. Oversee inbound/outbound shipping, receiving, and transportation, liaising with freight forwarders to manage import documentation.

3. Support raw material, component, and packaging forecasting, and help maintain accuracy of the Bill of Materials (BOM).

4. Identify and lead supply chain cost-saving opportunities, and collaborate with the production team on evaluating and sourcing machinery options.

5. Create, organize, and maintain purchasing, logistics, and vendor-related documentation to ensure smooth factory operations.

6. Work closely with the inventory team to ensure alignment between procurement, stock levels, and production needs.

REQUIREMENTS

1. Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

2. Minimum 5 years of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or PPIC within a manufacturing environment. Experience in automotive, electronics, or related industries is an advantage, not a requirement.

3. Fluent in English (written and spoken) is a must, as you will regularly communicate with our Australian Production Manager and international suppliers.

4. High attention to detail, strong negotiation and analytical skills, and a team-oriented attitude that thrives in fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.
