Supervisor Cathodic Protection (CP)

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise the entire Cathodic Protection project process from engineering stage until project handover.

• Conduct design review, calculation, material selection, and technical documentation related to the Cathodic Protection system.

• Supervise installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities of the Cathodic Protection system.

• Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with standards, specifications, quality requirements, and project targets.

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, production, QA/QC, procurement, and site teams regarding project execution.

• Monitor CP system performance and evaluate measurement results and inspection reports.

• Prepare and review technical reports, method statements, procedures, and final documentation.

• Control schedules, manpower, materials, and work progress to ensure effective and efficient project execution.

• Provide technical guidance and supervision to engineers, technicians, and project teams.

• Ensure implementation of safety, quality, and compliance aspects during project execution.

Minimum Qualifications

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Material / Metallurgical Engineering or related field).

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Cathodic Protection and at least 2 years as Supervisor / Lead Engineer.

• Strong understanding of Cathodic Protection systems (ICCP & Sacrificial Anode) for pipelines, tanks, structures, jetties, and underground facilities.

• Familiar with applicable standards such as NACE / AMPP, ISO, DNV, ASME, and client specifications.

• Capable of performing design review, CP calculations, troubleshooting, testing, commissioning, and system monitoring.

• Able to read drawings, datasheets, specifications, and technical documents.

• Strong leadership, communication, cross-functional coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and related engineering software.

• Understanding of QHSE implementation and project management in CP projects.

• Willing to travel for business trips / site visits when required.
