About the role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Production Supervisor to join PT Asahi Diamond Industrial Indonesia in Cikarang Pusat, Jawa Barat. This is a full-time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing production operations and ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly and efficiently. As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a production team, maintaining quality standards, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is essential to our operational success and directly impacts the company's ability to meet production targets and deliver excellence to our clients.

Key responsibilities

  1. Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to ensure adherence to schedules and production targets

  2. Monitor product quality throughout the manufacturing process and implement corrective actions when standards are not met

  3. Lead, motivate and develop production team members, providing coaching and performance feedback

  4. Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations on the production floor

  5. Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks to improve production efficiency and reduce downtime

  6. Maintain accurate production records and prepare reports on output, quality metrics and team performance

  7. Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure equipment is functioning optimally

  8. Train production staff on standard operating procedures and quality requirements

  9. Communicate effectively with management regarding production status, challenges and opportunities for improvement

What we're looking for

  1. Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or in a similar supervisory role within manufacturing or industrial operations

  2. Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control standards and manufacturing best practices to implementation ISO 9001:2015

  3. Demonstrated leadership capability with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively

  4. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure

  5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in Indonesian and English. Japanese language skills are an added value that will be prioritized

  6. A thorough understanding of health, safety and environmental (HSE) requirements in a manufacturing environment

  7. Enthusiasm for implementing continuous improvement/ Kaizen

This signals a move away from the Group’s previous management policies, which emphasized financial soundness centering on revenue and profitability. (3) In the area of corporate governance, we will clarify the division of roles between the supervisory and business execution functions. At the same time, we have embraced the challenge of adopting a public company style of management structure. The Asahi Diamond Group will continue providing high-quality products to customers irrespective of business conditions.
