MECHANICAL ENGINEER ( Fresh Graduate )

About the role

PT Taiyo Sinar Raya Teknik is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Mechanical Engineer (Fresh Graduate) to join our engineering team. This is a contract position based in Bekasi, West Java, offering an excellent opportunity for recent graduates to launch their career in mechanical engineering. You will work on diverse mechanical engineering projects, contributing to the design, analysis, and development of mechanical systems and components under the guidance of experienced engineers.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies using CAD software

• Conduct mechanical calculations and simulations to support design validation and optimisation

• Prepare technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for manufacturing and assembly

• Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements

• Support the fabrication and testing of prototypes and mechanical systems

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design requirements are met

• Perform maintenance analysis and troubleshooting of mechanical equipment

• Document and maintain project records and technical information

What we're looking for

• Recent graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent qualification

• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, thermodynamics, and materials science

• Proficiency in CAD software (such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools)

• Good knowledge of engineering standards and drawing conventions

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

• Strong communication skills in English

• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and take direction from senior engineers

• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work

• Willingness to learn and develop technical expertise in mechanical engineering
