Role Summary
The Indirect Procurement Buyer – Marketing & Sales is responsible for managing the end-to-end procurement process for marketing, sales, and commercial-related goods and services. This role supports internal stakeholders by sourcing qualified suppliers, negotiating competitive commercial terms, ensuring timely procurement, and maintaining compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
The Buyer works closely with Marketing, Sales, Brand, and Commercial teams to understand business requirements and deliver cost-effective procurement solutions while ensuring quality, service, and value. The role also contributes to supplier relationship management, contract administration, and continuous improvement initiatives within the procurement function.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end procurement process for Marketing & Sales categories, including RFQ/RFP, supplier evaluation, negotiation, purchase order issuance, and contract management.
Source and evaluate suppliers for marketing-related services such as advertising agencies, media buying, event organizers, digital marketing, creative production, printing, merchandising, POSM, and promotional materials.
Negotiate pricing, commercial terms, and service level agreements to achieve cost savings and business value.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to understand procurement requirements and ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, governance, and applicable regulations.
Monitor supplier performance and support supplier development initiatives.
Maintain procurement documentation, contracts, and supplier databases.
Identify opportunities for cost optimization, process improvements, and procurement efficiency.
Support budget control by monitoring procurement spend and providing procurement insights when required.
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in Procurement, preferably handling Indirect Procurement or Marketing & Sales procurement categories.
Experience in sourcing marketing agencies, media, events, digital services, printing, promotional materials, or related categories is an advantage.
Good understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, and contract negotiation.
Strong negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint); experience with ERP or e-Procurement systems is preferred.
Able to actively speaking in English
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
