R&D Supervisor - Sauce & Seasoning
Job Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Biotechnology, Chemistry, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Research & Development (R&D) within the seasoning, sauce, or condiment industry.
Hands-on experience in developing and improving products such as soy sauce, sweet soy sauce (kecap manis), oyster sauce, cooking sauces, seasoning powders, and other savory condiments.
Strong knowledge of local Indonesian taste preferences and product development for the domestic market.
Experience in formulation development, raw material evaluation, product trials, shelf-life studies, and product optimization.
Familiar with GLP, GMP, HACCP, FSSC 22000/ISO 22000, and applicable food regulations.
Good understanding of food ingredients, food additives, flavor systems, and seasoning applications.
Able to communicate in English. Mandarin is an advantage.
Willing to work in Cikarang, Bekasi.
Job description :
Develop and improve seasoning, sauce, and condiment products for the Indonesian market.
Formulate and optimize products including soy sauce, sweet soy sauce, oyster sauce, seasoning powder, seasoning paste, and other food seasonings.
Conduct laboratory trials, pilot-scale production, product evaluation, and sensory testing.
Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, Purchasing, and Marketing during new product development.
Evaluate new ingredients and suppliers to improve product quality and cost efficiency.
Conduct shelf-life studies and product stability evaluations.
Ensure all product formulations comply with food safety regulations and company standards.
Prepare technical documentation, product specifications, and development reports.
Support continuous improvement and cost optimization projects for existing products.
