What you'll be doing

  • Preparing, reviewing, and submitting customs documentation and declarations for import and export shipments

  • Managing bill of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, certificates of origin, and other required trade documents

  • Ensuring all documentation complies with international trade regulations, tariff codes, and local customs requirements

  • Processing and tracking shipping documents from point of origin to final destination

  • Maintaining accurate records and databases of all export and import transactions

  • Identifying and resolving documentation discrepancies and delays promptly

  • Coordinating with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for shipments

  • Monitoring regulatory changes and updates in import/export procedures

  • Providing regular updates and reports on shipment status to internal teams and clients


What we're looking for

  • Minimum diploma 3 or equivalent; in logistics, customs, or international trade preferred

  • Proven experience of 3+ years working in export/import documentation, customs clearance, or logistics operations

  • Strong knowledge of customs procedures, tariff classifications, and international trade regulations (INCOTERMS, HS codes, etc.)

  • Proficiency with logistics software systems and MS Office applications

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple shipments

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in document preparation and data entry

  • Strong communication skills in English and Indonesian; additional languages are advantageous

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders

  • Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure

  • Familiarity with Indonesian customs procedures and local regulations is highly valued
