Responsible for month-end closing activities to ensure accurate, complete, and timely financial reporting for the Sumatra and Kalimantan operations.
Assist the General Manager in managing the day-to-day operations of the Finance Department and provide financial support to ensure smooth business operations.
Ensure accounting records are properly maintained, updated, and reconciled accurately for all financial transactions across Sumatra and Kalimantan operations.
Prepare financial reports, analysis, and other management reports as requested by management.
Assist in the preparation of tax estimates, review tax computations, and ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax returns and statutory requirements.
Review, verify, and approve payment transactions, including cheque payments, bank drafts, electronic payments, and petty cash claims, ensuring compliance with company procedures.
Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors to facilitate audit processes and ensure timely completion of audit requirements.
Prepare and support customs audit requirements by ensuring all relevant documents, records, and information are properly maintained and provided when required.
Monitor and control trade debtor accounts, work closely with the Invoicing Clerk to follow up on outstanding payments and ensure effective collection management.
Provide guidance, coaching, and support to subordinates on finance-related matters, work processes, and operational requirements.
Ensure all Finance and Administration procedures, policies, and internal controls are properly implemented, maintained, and followed.
Work closely with the HR Head at Headquarters and HR Supervisors to support HR and administrative matters, including coordination of employee-related processes, documentation, and operational requirements.
Assist in improving finance and administrative processes to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with company standards.
Perform any additional duties and responsibilities assigned by the superior or management from time to time.
