We are a Holding Company seeking an experienced Purchasing Officer to support our Mining, Mineral Trading businesses. The ideal candidate will have strong procurement, vendor management, and negotiation skills, with the ability to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of goods and services while maintaining compliance with company policies and operational requirements.
Job Scope:
Identify and verify goods and service requirements based on Purchase Requisitions (PR) submitted by internal users.
Request and evaluate quotations from vendors/suppliers, including price, specifications, quality, and delivery terms.
Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure the approval process is completed in accordance with the company's authorization matrix.
Monitor and ensure procurement activities are completed within the agreed timeline and according to operational needs.
Maintain and organize documentation, including PRs, quotations, POs, invoices, and other supporting documents.
Arrange business travel requirements, including flight tickets, hotel accommodations, and transportation bookings for employees.
Maintain professional relationships with vendors/suppliers and ensure all purchasing activities comply with company policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Minimum bachelor's degree in management, economics, business, or related fields.
Minimum 3 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain, especially in the mining sector.
Good relationship with vendors or suppliers.
Strong negotiation and effective communication skills.
Ability to manage time and multitask efficiently.
Detail-oriented in every task.
Familiar with Accurate and skilled in using Microsoft Office.
Good work ethics and high integrity.
