Supply Chain Planning Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process to align market demand with manufacturing capacity, ensuring optimal production schedules and minimal stockouts.

• Oversee the creation of achievable, optimized production schedules that balance machine utilization, labor availability, and market demand.

• Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring strict adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Good Distribution Practices (GDP). Optimize storage capacity and maintain high inventory accuracy.

• Manage the Export/Import team to ensure timely customs clearance of raw materials (APIs, excipients) and finished goods. Maintain absolute compliance with local and international pharmaceutical regulatory bodies (FDA, EMA, customs, etc.).

• Identify and mitigate supply chain disruptions (e.g., raw material shortages, shipping delays) while managing budget, freight costs, and inventory holding costs.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team across planning, warehousing, and logistics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and safety.
  

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, Pharmacy or related field

• 10 years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role. Having experience in Pharmaceutical or manufacturing industry is an advantage.

• Deep understanding of GMP, GDP, and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements for temperature-controlled logistics (Cold Chain).

• Proficient in supply chain management software, ERP systems and familiarity with Lean Sigma methodologies.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, excellent communication and negotiation skills

• Fluent in English both written and spoken

• Able to collaborate with other functions within the plant and having interest to work in international or global organization
