About the role
As a Safety Officer at PT Kuala Pelabuhan Indonesia, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety and well-being of our workforce. This full-time position is based in Timika, Papua Tengah, and is responsible for implementing and overseeing our comprehensive safety protocols across our operations.
What you'll be doing
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessment.
Develop and implement health and safety policies and procedures.
Investigate incident, prepare reports, and recommend corrective actions.
Conduct safety briefings for employees.
Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain record and documentation for audits and legal compliance.
Promote a strong safety culture across the organization.
Conduct data/ trend analysis based on collected database.
Create engaging safety content for internal communications and campaign.
Utilize social media, photo, and video editing tools to support safety awareness.

What we're looking for
Bachelor degree in Occupational Health and safety, Environmental Science, Industrial Engineering or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in similar role
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
Respond to emergencies effectively and meet deadline.
Fluent in both English and Indonesian (Spoken & Written).
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Power point, Outlook)
Able to use social media platform and basic photo/ video editing tools (e.g, Canva, CapCut, Etc)
