About the Role:
We are looking for a results-driven Business Development (BD) B2B Sr. Staff to manage and grow our client base in the assigned area (Surabaya or Bali Area). This role is responsible for leading the BD team, acquiring new clients, and support and plan the strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a great leadership, strong communicator with a solid background in B2B sales or business development and prior leadership experience.
Requirement:
Bachelor’s Degree from any major (preferably from Business, Marketing or related major)
Min. 2 years experiences in sales or business development, preferably houseware/homeliving/FMCG industry and handling clients or small accounts independently
Proficiency in local and English language (Intermediate to advanced level)
Proficient in office tools such as Microsoft Office, etc.
Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships with local clients and stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and lead the team to achieve daily sales and target.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
Have a personal vehicle.
Based and willing to work and cover the assigned area (Surabaya or Bali and the surrounding area).
Responsibilities:
Acquire and Develop New Clients – Identify and approach prospects, conduct outreach, lead introductory meetings, and present product offerings effectively.
Lead Sales Pitching & Deal Closing – Guide proposals, deliver strong value presentations, support negotiations, handle objections, and secure first purchase orders.
Support Client Onboarding – Explain product usage and positioning, provide catalogs/tools, and ensure clients understand ordering and delivery processes.
Drive Repeat Purchases – Follow up after first orders, recommend suitable products, propose promotional or bundling ideas, and build consistent early sales in the new region.
Maintain Client Relationships – Maintain communication, track buying patterns, and resolve basic operational issues such as delivery or stock.
Apply Leadership Skills in Market Building – Use leadership capabilities to plan visits, anticipate risks, guide selling approaches, and establish strong market foundations—operating solo initially but prepared to lead a future team.
Monitor Market Insights & Enable Growth – Identify trends, client needs, and local opportunities; use insights to build early strategies for regional success.
