IT Technician

Location: Club Med Bali, Indonesia

Mission

The IT Technician serves as the primary technical point of contact within the Village, ensuring the seamless integration, operation, and maintenance of Club Med's IT infrastructure and SEA IT solutions. This role is responsible for upholding international technical standards while adapting to the specific operational needs of the resort. By following the IT Engineering & Administrative Support guidelines, the IT Technician contributes to a secure, reliable, and high-performing digital environment for both G.O/G.E teams and guests.

Key Responsibilities

Infrastructure & Workspace Technology

  • Set up and maintain workstations, computers, and peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and card readers.

  • Inspect and ensure the proper functioning of computer hardware, including hard drives, keyboards, monitors, and other equipment.

  • Install, configure, and update operating systems, software applications, and security tools according to company standards.

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize local area networks (LAN) and wireless infrastructure.

  • Ensure the security, integrity, and privacy of network and computer systems.

  • Support Village operations by providing technical guidance and training to end users on software and hardware usage.

User Support & System Maintenance

  • Provide first-level and second-level technical support to G.O/G.E teams and departments.

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, network, and connectivity issues efficiently.

  • Perform repairs, replacements, and system debugging as required.

  • Plan and coordinate upgrades, maintenance activities, and system updates with minimal disruption to operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of incidents, repairs, maintenance schedules, and technical documentation.

  • Monitor and manage hardware inventory and IT assets.

  • Identify equipment shortages and coordinate procurement requests when necessary.

  • Conduct regular Wi-Fi performance checks and replace or upgrade hardware when required to ensure optimal connectivity.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an IT Technician, IT Support Specialist, or in a similar technical support role.

  • Strong knowledge of computer systems, hardware, software installation, and network troubleshooting.

  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office applications, network infrastructure, and Wi-Fi technologies.

  • Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Experience in hospitality, resort, or service-oriented environments is an advantage.
