IT Infrastructure & Network Specialist
Key Responsibilities
1. Network Infrastructure Management
Install, configure, and maintain network infrastructure across the site.
Deploy and support communication towers, wireless bridges, access points, and Starlink satellite internet systems.
Monitor network performance, bandwidth utilization, and connectivity.
Troubleshoot network outages and communication failures.
Coordinate with internet service providers and equipment vendors when necessary.
2. IT Operations & User Support
Provide daily IT support to employees and departments.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktop computers, laptops, and mobile devices.
Set up user accounts, email accounts, and network access permissions.
Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner.
Maintain records of support requests and resolutions.
3. Office Equipment Management
Install and maintain printers, scanners, attendance machines, CCTV systems, and other office equipment.
Configure network-connected devices and ensure proper operation.
Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
Coordinate repairs and warranty services with suppliers when required.
4. IT Asset & Inventory Management
Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment and software assets.
Track equipment allocation, movement, and replacement schedules.
Conduct periodic inventory checks and asset audits.
Ensure compliance with company asset management procedures.
5. IT Procurement & Vendor Management
Evaluate business requirements and recommend suitable IT hardware and software solutions.
Prepare technical specifications for IT equipment purchases.
Obtain quotations and compare products from suppliers.
Support procurement activities and vendor selection processes.
Verify delivered equipment meets company requirements and specifications.
6. Others
Other tasks assigned by the leader.
Education:
Bachelor's degree or above.
Major: Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, or related fields preferred.
Work Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in IT support, network management, or system administration.
Knowledge and Skills:
Familiar with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of network equipment (Router, Switch, Access Point).
Experience in deploying communication tower networks, wireless networks, or Starlink satellite networks is preferred.
Familiar with Windows operating systems, Office software, and the maintenance of common office equipment.
Abilities and Qualities: Excellent communication and coordination skills and a service-oriented mindset; able to independently handle on-site technical issues.
Able to adapt to the factory work environment and on-site construction management.
English communication skills are preferred; basic communication skills in Chinese are also preferred.
