Job Description (Barista)

• Assume responsibility for all aspects of the coffee bar

• Capable of completing all daily operations of the coffee bar, including: creating drink menu, preparing ingredients, and making the drink

• Assisting senior barista to ensure exceptional customer service and high levels of quality is delivered throughout

• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitation of the bar area and all bar staff, following the food health and safety procedures

Job Description (Waiter)

• Greeting guests, taking drink and food orders

• Staying attentive and proactive to the needs of guests in the dining area, with professional etiquette at all times

• Delivering food and drink from the bar and kitchen to the guests

• Ensuring the food order is made correctly by kitchen and bar staff, and looks presentable for guests

• Responsible for remembering the full menu, and familiar with the taste

• Able to make recommendation to the guests based on their preferences

• Following health code standards with regards to the handling of food

• Preparing all table and tableware necessities prior open hours, and cleaning it after close hours

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar position in full-service cafe/restaurant industry

• Good communication skills, and able to work as a team

• Proactive approach in handling guests

• Able to work well under pressure, be organized, flexible and self motivated

• Have passion, creativity as a store/cafe waiter, and be a model waiter in terms of skills, customer service and enthusiasm to share knowledge

• Motivated and have positive personality with a distinct focus on unique guest experiences

• Understand safety procedures

About the Company

Established in 2021, Tiembi, started from a homebrew coffee until last year in 2023 we’re opening our first Coffee Shop. With the fast growing coffee industry in Indonesia, our mission is to create a full customer experience where they can enjoy great coffee and delicious food with excellent customer service, as well as a homey ambience where they can feel Tiembi as their second home.
