Purchasing Staff

Requirements

• Minimum D-3 or S-1 degree in Economics, Transportation Management, Management, or Industrial Engineering.

• Minimum GPA 3.00 out of 4.00 (GPA >3.50 is highly preferred).

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement/purchasing role (experience in a Chemical Manufacture is a strong advantage).

• Understanding of import procedures, procurement cycles, and supply chain workflows.

• Strong interpersonal, negotiations, and effective communication skills.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.

• Proficient in MS Office, with an Intermediate level proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table, etc.).

• Have driving licenses (SIM A and SIM C).

Responsibilities

• Supplier Sourcing: Find competitive price comparisons and identify alternative suppliers to fulfill Goods Requests.

• PO Management: Create Purchase Orders (PO), monitor delivery schedules, and update the warehouse team regarding arrivals.

• Fulfillment Tracking: Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timely realization of all issued POs.

• Import & EMKL: Select appropriate Ekspedisi Muatan Kapal Laut (EMKL) partners and manage import permits and documentation.

• Clearance Monitoring: Track permit issuance from related government institutions to ensure on-time port clearance.

• Cost Control: Prevent demurrage charges by ensuring efficient and timely custom clearance processes.
