About the role
We are seeking a Purchasing Staff to join PT. Master Kidz Indonesia in our Kendal, Central Java office on a full-time basis. This role is pivotal to our supply chain operations, ensuring we procure materials, components and services efficiently whilst maintaining quality standards and cost-effectiveness. You will play a crucial part in supporting our manufacturing operations by managing purchasing activities, supplier relationships and inventory coordination. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in procurement within the manufacturing and logistics sector.
What you'll be doing
Processing purchase orders and managing the procurement cycle from requisition through to delivery
Identifying, evaluating and liaising with suppliers to source materials and components at competitive prices
Negotiating with vendors on pricing, payment terms and delivery schedules to optimise cost and quality
Monitoring supplier performance and maintaining strong vendor relationships
Tracking orders, following up on delayed deliveries and resolving supply chain issues
Maintaining accurate purchasing records and documentation
Coordinating with warehouse and inventory teams to ensure stock levels are appropriate
Supporting the procurement team with administrative tasks and reporting
Ensuring compliance with company purchasing policies and procedures
Assisting in cost analysis and identifying opportunities for procurement efficiency improvements
What we're looking for
Diploma or equivalent; additional qualification in procurement, supply chain management or related field is advantageous
1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement or inventory role, preferably within manufacturing or logistics
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
Excellent communication skills in Indonesian; English language skills are beneficial
Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping
Understanding of basic supply chain and inventory management principles
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Professional approach to vendor relations and problem-solving
Familiarity with procurement systems or ERP software is preferred but not essential
