About the role
Adijaya Karya Makmur is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Payroll & Compensation Benefit Staff to join our Human Capital Development Team. This is a contract position based in Rasuna Said, Kuningan, South Jakarta. In this role, you will be responsible for managing payroll operations, processing employee compensation, and administering benefits programmes with accuracy and efficiency. You will play a crucial part in ensuring that all employees receive timely and correct payments whilst maintaining compliance with Indonesian labour regulations and company policies. This position is essential to supporting our HR and finance functions and contributes directly to employee satisfaction and organisational compliance.
Key responsibilities
Processing monthly payroll for all employees, including salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings in accordance with Indonesian labour laws (including BPJS Kesehatan & Tenaga Kerja)
Maintaining accurate payroll records and employee compensation files, ensuring all documentation is current and compliant with regulatory requirements
Administering employee benefits programmes, including health insurance, pension contributions, and other benefit schemes
Calculating and processing employee allowances, bonuses, incentives, and other compensation components
Reconciling payroll accounts and ensuring all payments are processed accurately and on schedule
Preparing payroll reports and documentation for management review and compliance purposes
Liaising with relevant government agencies and insurance providers regarding tax filings and benefit programme submissions
Supporting the HR department with compensation analysis and benefits-related employee inquiries
Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive employee compensation and personal information
Keeping abreast of changes in labour legislation and payroll regulations to maintain compliance
What we're looking for
Bachelor's Degree from Accounting/Management/Tax/Human Resources or major relatable
Minimum 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing or compensation and benefits administration in mining industry
Strong knowledge of Indonesian labour laws, tax regulations, and social security requirements
Proficiency with payroll software and accounting systems; experience with HRIS platforms is advantageous
Excellent numerical and analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail
Strong organisational ability and capacity to manage multiple tasks within strict deadlines
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant office applications
Knowledge of compensation planning and benefits programme design is a plus
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in Indonesian and English
Professional demeanour with strong ethical standards and integrity
Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment
