Ubud Beauty Shop Sales Assistant
About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Ubud Beauty Shop Sales Assistant to join the team at Awild Store in Bali. This is a full-time position based in our Ubud location, where you will be at the heart of our retail store. As a Sales Assistant, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales within our beauty and clothing retail environment. Your friendly demeanour and product knowledge will directly contribute to creating memorable shopping experiences for our customers and supporting the overall success of our store.
Key responsibilities
Greet customers warmly upon arrival and assist them in finding beauty and clothing products that meet their needs
Provide detailed product information and recommendations based on customer preferences and requirements
Process sales transactions accurately using MOKA point-of-sale systems and handle cash and card payments
Maintain neat and attractive product displays, ensuring all items are well-stocked and organised
Conduct regular stock checks and report inventory levels to management
Assist in receiving and unpacking new product deliveries
Handle customer enquiries and concerns professionally, resolving issues where possible or escalating as appropriate
Achieve sales targets and contribute to the store's revenue goals
Maintain a clean and hygienic store environment in accordance with company standards
Support promotional activities and help communicate special offers to customers
What we're looking for
Previous retail or customer service experience, preferably in the beauty or cosmetics sector
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers and build rapport
Excellent numeracy skills and proficiency with point-of-sale systems
A genuine passion for beauty products and staying informed about industry trends
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude towards work
Fluency in English and Indonesian languages is highly advantageous
Team player mentality with a willingness to support colleagues
Flexibility to work retail hours including weekends
