Job Summary

PERSOL Client (a Japanese financial company) is hiring a Japanese Interpreter to support communication between Japanese and employees in daily operations. This role is not only interpretation—the interpreter will also support daily operational/admin tasks within the assigned department (Sales / Accounting / HR / IT).

Responsibilities

Interpretation & Translation

• Provide Japanese ↔ Indonesian interpretation during internal meetings and daily operations

• Support communication between Japanese and local employees

• Provide consecutive interpretation for business and operational discussions

• Translate emails, reports, and documents

• Maintain confidentiality of company information

Operational / Department Support

• Support assigned department (Sales / Accounting / HR / IT) with daily operational/admin tasks

• Coordinate activities involving Japanese counterparts

• Support execution of departmental business processes

Requirements (Mandatory)

• Bachelor’s degree (any major)

• JLPT N1 or N2

• Fluent Japanese for daily business conversation

• 3–5 years experience as an Interpreter

• Strong communication skills, adaptable, able to multitask

• Able to work under pressure; team player and independent

Preferred

• Experience working in a Japanese company

• Experience studying/working in Japan
