About Our Company
Atera Water is a water treatment solutions company delivering packaged membrane systems — including ultrafiltration (UF) and reverse osmosis (RO) — to industrial and municipal clients across Southeast Asia. We design, supply, and deploy end-to-end water treatment solutions, working closely with local partners and contractors to deliver projects for industrial water treatment and water recycling.
Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced and execution-driven Project Manager to be based in Jakarta and lead the on-ground deployment of water treatment projects across Indonesia. This is a hands-on, field-facing role that sits at the intersection of contractor management, technical coordination, and project delivery.
The right candidate will have a strong EPC background, a sharp understanding of local MEP and civil contracting in Indonesia, and the experience to manage multi-discipline installation works — piping, electrical, mechanical, and civil — from site survey through to commissioning. You will serve as the primary interface between our Singapore headquarters, local contractors, and clients on the ground.
Key Responsibilities
Source, qualify, and build a reliable network of local contractors capable of executing piping, electrical, mechanical, and civil works required for the installation of packaged membrane water treatment systems.
Assess contractors on technical competency, relevant project references, safety track record, and delivery capacity before engagement.
Lead site surveys with contractors and clients to define installation and delivery scope, ensuring full alignment to project deployment plans, actual site conditions, and applicable safety regulations.
Identify site constraints, access limitations, and technical requirements early to prevent downstream scope gaps or rework.
Drive coordination between contractors, internal teams, and clients to ensure consistent alignment on installation scope, technical specifications, project schedule, and budget throughout execution.
Support all project activities from site survey through to BOQ and proposal preparation, ensuring no gaps exist between the required project scope and contractor submissions.
Review contractor BOQs critically, challenging unrealistic pricing, missing line items, or scope misalignments before they become project problems.
Coordinate with logistics partners and vendors to ensure materials and equipment are delivered on time, in full, and in compliance with handling and storage requirements.
Track and manage delivery schedules proactively, flagging risks to project timelines early and driving resolution.
Provide structured, regular updates on site progress, risks, and issues to HQ Singapore and relevant project stakeholders.
Maintain thorough project documentation including site activity logs, contractor records, test reports, and milestone trackers.
