Geotechnical Engineer (Geotech Engineer)

Project Based – Saumlaki, Maluku

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Civil Engineering, Geological Engineering (Teknik Geologi), or a related engineering discipline with a strong focus on Geotechnical/Soil & Rock Mechanics.

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Geotechnical Engineer or in related civil/structural engineering activities.

• Mandatory experience within heavy construction infrastructure or Oil & Gas onshore projects (such as LNG plants, refineries, or petrochemical facilities).

• Strong understanding of geotechnical engineering software , soil mechanics and field testing.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• English proficiency is mandatory both written and spoken (for technical reporting and coordination).

• Willing to be placed on a project site at Saumlaki, Maluku.

• Able to join immediately or within short notice.

• Meets occupational health requirements in accordance with company regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Support geotechnical engineering activities and site investigations during project execution.

• Conduct geotechnical analysis, soil mechanics evaluation and technical coordination related to project requirements (foundations, earthworks and retaining structures).

• Coordinate with project teams, contractors and related parties regarding geotechnical activities on-site.

• Prepare technical reports, engineering drawings, documentation and geological/geotechnical data as required.

• Ensure all geotechnical activities comply with project procedures, standards and safety requirements.
