Role Purpose
To lead product management and trade marketing execution for the automotive refinish business in Indonesia, driving product launches, channel programs, and end-customer engagement across distributors, dealerships, and workshops.
This is a hands-on, commercially driven role with strong ownership of product lifecycle, channel activation, and demand generation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Product Management (Primary Focus)
Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for refinish paint products
Develop and execute:
New product launches
New brand introductions
Manage:
Product positioning
Pricing alignment
Portfolio strategy
Coordinate with:
Supply chain for product sourcing
Sales teams for market execution
Drive demand generation for new and existing products
Track product performance and initiate corrective actions
2. Trade Marketing & Channel Programs
Design and execute dealer/distributor incentive programs
Manage:
Program tracking
Performance monitoring
Continuous updates and improvements
Drive sell-out through channel activation initiatives
3. End-Customer Engagement (Painter Ecosystem)
Develop and manage painter loyalty programs
Build strong engagement with:
Workshops
Garage painters
Drive usage, retention, and brand preference
4. B2B Marketing & Communication
Develop and execute marketing communication for B2B customers, including:
Car dealerships
Paintshops
Bodyshops
Create:
Campaign materials
Product communication
Sales support tools
5. Marketing Planning & Execution
Develop:
Annual marketing plan
Monthly activity calendar
Execute:
Promotions
Trade campaigns
Channel activation programs
6. Branding & Market Visibility
Support basic branding initiatives
Ensure consistent brand positioning across channels
Strengthen visibility in:
Workshops
Dealerships
Trade network
Key KPIs
Success of new product / brand launches
Growth in product portfolio sales
Effectiveness of dealer incentive programs
Painter loyalty program engagement & retention
Channel activation coverage and execution quality
Contribution to overall sales growth
Qualifications & Experience
Age: 26–45 years
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field
5–10 years of experience in:
Product marketing / product management
Trade marketing / channel marketing
Industry preference:
Automotive refinish / coatings / automotive aftermarket
Skills & Competencies
Strong product management capability (critical requirement)
Deep understanding of:
Channel programs
Distributor/dealer ecosystem
Hands-on execution mindset
Strong commercial acumen
Ability to work cross-functionally (sales, supply chain, distributors)
Good communication and stakeholder management
