🥗Hiring: Vegan Chef
Looking for a creative plant based /vegan chef, who has a passion for creating healthy and yummy dishes for our customers. The Chef is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the kitchen operations, including menu planning, food preparation, and staff management. The Chef will ensure the highest quality of food is consistently delivered, while maintaining a safe and efficient working environment. This role requires leadership skills, team work, culinary expertise, and the ability to create innovative and delicious dishes.We are currently seeking a skilled and passionate individual to join our kitchen team as a Kitchen Staff/Cook. The ideal candidate will have experience in food preparation and cooking, with a particular interest or knowledge in vegan cuisine.
Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of vegan dishes according to recipes
Ensure food quality and presentation meet our standards and adhere to health and safety regulations
Assist in inventory management, including monitoring stock levels and ordering ingredients as needed
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, including proper storage and labeling of food items
Stay updated on current food trends and vegan cooking techniques to continuously improve our menu offerings
Provide support during peak hours, including assisting with dishwashing and general kitchen duties as required
Requirements:
Previous experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in a similar role
Knowledge and passion for vegan cuisine, including familiarity with vegan ingredients and cooking methods
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and presentation
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
