Die Design Engineer

PERSOL Indonesia is currently assisting one of our clients in a Japanese Manufacturing Company in finding great talent as a Die Design Engineer with the requirement as follows:

Working location: Cikarang

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and develop dies/molds using CAD & CAE software
• Analyze technical requirements and determine appropriate materials for mold production
• Conduct engineering analysis to ensure optimal mold performance and durability
• Prepare technical documentation and reports related to design and production processes
• Collaborate closely with production teams during trial, troubleshooting, and improvement phases
• Identify issues in existing dies and propose innovative solutions for enhancement and efficiency

Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in die design, mold engineering, or related field
• Experience in manufacturing or automotive industry is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of die casting processes (aluminum/zinc is a plus)
• Proficient in CAD/CAE software
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
