About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Data Entry Clerk to support our finance team. This role focuses on accurate and timely data entry of financial transactions, ensuring records are complete, organized, and up to date.

This position is ideal for someone who is meticulous, reliable, and comfortable working with numbers and accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Input daily financial transactions into accounting systems

• Maintain accurate records of invoices, receipts, and payments

• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable data entry

• Reconcile data entries with supporting documents

• Update and maintain spreadsheets and accounting databases

• Ensure proper filing and organization of financial documents

• Support month-end closing by preparing data as required

• Identify and correct data discrepancies

Requirements

• Minimum Diploma (D3) in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 1–2 years experience in data entry or accounting admin (fresh graduates with strong skills are welcomed)

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, formatting)

• Familiar with accounting software (e.g. MYOB or similar) is a plus

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
