Job Description
Identifying and selecting suitable suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating contracts
Building and maintaining strong relationships with vendors, monitoring their performance, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services
Analyzing costs, negotiating favorable terms, and identifying opportunities for cost savings
Tracking stock levels, ensuring adequate supply, and managing inventory within agreed upon budgets
Ensuring purchased goods and services meet the organization's quality standards
Adhering to procurement policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate records
Preparing reports on purchasing activities, costs, and inventory levels
Conducting supplier audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement, developing and implementing corrective action plans, and monitoring supplier performance against agreed-upon metrics
Requirement
Bachelor's Degree - Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
Strong negotiation and communication skills
Knowledge of procurement principles and best practices
Ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Understanding of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
Experience dealing with spare parts suppliers, construction, mechanics, and electrical
