What you'll be doing
Process bi-weekly payroll and ensure all employee information, hours worked, deductions, and other payroll data are accurately recorded
Prepare and distribute payslips to employees on time
Reconcile payroll accounts and maintain detailed records
Assist with the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits
Coordinate with the HR team to ensure compliance with all relevant labour laws and regulations
Provide support for other accounting and administrative tasks as needed
What we're looking for
Minimum 1 year of experience in a payroll assistant or similar role
Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
Proficient in using payroll software (ProInt, SAP, Oracle, etc) and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and compliance requirements
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
