About The Role

The Senior Manager, Finance Operations is responsible for overseeing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate transaction processing, complex partner reconciliations, timely collections and payments, and smooth month-end execution. This role plays a critical role in safeguarding cash flows and identifying anomalies across high-volume transactions. This role manages the finance operations team and works closely with the Finance Controller.


What You’ll Do

Financial Operations Management:

  • Oversee the complete accounting cycle, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), payroll reporting, and bank reconciliations.

  • Manage end-to-end reconciliation processes across various data sources (OTAs, hotels, payment partners, banks, and internal systems).

  • Monitor transaction flows to proactively identify and resolve unusual patterns, mismatches, delays, or potential revenue leakage.

  • Ensure strict adherence to operating and accounting controls.

Accounts Receivable Focus:

  • Monitor and manage AR balances to ensure timely collections and anticipate cash flow requirements.

  • Ensure the timely recording and reconciliation of collections, collaborating with the commercial team to minimize post-payment exposure.

  • Provide essential support for collection activities, bad debts management, and AR dispute resolution.

Accounts Payable Focus:

  • Review, approve, and reconcile payment and accounting transactions, verifying their validity, accuracy, and timeliness.

Compliance and Reporting:

  • Process tax payments and filings in line with local regulations.

  • Review and approve journal entries, ensuring comprehensive documentation.

  • Support the Finance Controller in executing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing procedures.

Team Leadership and Collaboration:

  • Supervise and provide guidance to the finance operations teams in Indonesia, Thailand, and India.

  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to resolve financial operation challenges effectively.


About You

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance operations, with exposure to high-volume or partner-led transaction environments

  • Prior team management experience

  • Hands-on and detail-oriented

  • Experience with accounting software (Xero preferred)

  • Strong Excel skills

  • Experience in SaaS, hospitality, or startup environments is a plus

  • Strong interpersonal skills
