BIM Modeler / Drafter (Electrical)
About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and skilled BIM Modeler / Drafter (Electrical) to support our project team in delivering high-quality BIM models and technical drawings for for electrical systems in construction projects, especially in mission-critical facilities such as Data Centers.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain BIM models for Electrical systems using Autodesk Revit
Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, and as-built drawings
Perform clash detection and coordination for electrical systems to ensure design accuracy and prevent conflicts during project execution.
Coordinate with project team, subcontractors, and vendors for drawing accuracy
Ensure all models and drawings comply with project standards and specifications
Assist in electrical design development (concept, schematic, and detailed design)
Conduct site visits, inspections, and measurements when required
Support preparation and review of materials, shop drawings, and method statements (MoS)
Maintain documentation and ensure proper BIM workflow (including cloud collaboration & model coordination)
Assist in handover documentation including as-built drawings
Requirements
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred)
Minimum 3–10 years of experience in BIM Modeling / Drafting (Electrical)
Experience in Data Center projects is a strong advantage
Proficient in:
Autodesk Revit (Electrical)
AutoCAD
Navisworks (clash detection)
SketchUp (optional)
Microsoft Office
Strong understanding of electrical systems and construction drawings
Familiar with BIM standards, coordination, and workflows
Good communication skills and able to work in a team
Good command of English (spoken & written)
High attention to detail and quality
Willing to be placed at project site

Experience in BIM coordination (LOD, clash detection, model federation)
Ability to train or guide junior drafters/modelers
Experience using BIM 360 / ACC (Autodesk Construction Cloud)
