Jr Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

Job Description:

 We are looking for a QA Engineer to ensure the quality of our software products (web and mobile applications). You will be responsible for planning, executing, and analyzing tests to ensure that web and mobile applications function correctly, are free of bugs, and meet user needs.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning:

• Develop a comprehensive test plan.

• Design effective test cases and test scenarios.

• Select appropriate testing tools and techniques.

Test Execution:

• Perform various types of testing, such as functional testing, performance testing, compatibility testing, and usability testing.

• Automate testing using suitable tools (e.g., Selenium, etc.).

• Record and report all bugs and issues found.

Test Result Analysis:

 • Analyze test results to identify root causes of issues.

 • Work closely with the development team to fix bugs and improve product quality.

Documentation:

 • Create clear and detailed technical documentation, including bug reports, test plans, and user manuals.

Qualifications:

Mandatory:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a QA Engineer or similar role.

• Understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).

• Proficiency in manual and automated testing techniques.

• Ability to write clear and detailed bug reports.

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment.

• Good communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Experience testing web and mobile applications.

• Familiarity with testing tools like Selenium or similar tools.

• Experience with programming languages such as .NET, JavaScript.

• Knowledge of databases and SQL.

• Experience with bug management tools like Jira or Trello.
