Job Description

The Social Media Specialist is responsible for managing and growing the company’s social media presence to strengthen brand awareness, increase audience engagement, and support business revenue objectives.

This role focuses on developing creative content strategies, managing daily social media operations, and ensuring consistent brand communication aligned with the hospitality experience and customer journey.


Key Responsibilities (JR)

1. Social Media Management

  • Manage daily operations of all company social media platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant channels).

  • Plan, schedule, and publish engaging content in accordance with the marketing calendar.

  • Ensure consistency in brand tone, visual identity, and messaging.

2. Content Planning & Creation

  • Develop creative content ideas including photos, videos, reels, and short-form storytelling aligned with hospitality trends.

  • Collaborate with Marketing, Operations, and Creative teams to produce high-quality content showcasing property experiences, services, and events.

  • Coordinate on-site content capturing when required.

3. Community Engagement

  • Monitor comments, messages, and online interactions in a timely and professional manner.

  • Build positive relationships with guests, members, and online communities.

  • Support online reputation management and customer feedback handling.

4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting

  • Track social media performance metrics such as reach, engagement, follower growth, and conversions.

  • Analyze audience behavior and recommend optimization strategies.

  • Prepare monthly social media performance reports.

5. Campaign & Collaboration Support

  • Support digital campaigns, promotions, and brand activations through social media execution.

  • Coordinate with influencers, content creators, and partners for collaborations.

  • Assist in launching social media advertising initiatives when required.

6. Trend & Market Monitoring

  • Stay updated with social media trends, hospitality lifestyle trends, and platform algorithm updates.

  • Propose innovative ideas to improve engagement and brand visibility.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communication, Media, or related field.

  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience managing social media accounts, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle, hotel, or F&B industry.

  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and digital content trends.

  • Basic skills in editing tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, or similar).

  • Excellent communication skills in English.

  • Creative, detail-oriented, and highly adaptable.
