As an Accounting Staff member, you will play a crucial role in supporting our daily finance and accounting operations. Your responsibility is to ensure the accuracy of our financial records by managing vendor invoices, customer billing, and daily journal entries. Your meticulous work will maintain the financial health of our retail operations, enabling our business to grow with confidence and integrity.
What We’ll Work on Together
- Receive, verify, and match vendor invoices with supporting documents, and input billing data into the accounting system.
- Prepare invoices for customer billing and follow up on overdue payments.
- Monitor accounts receivable, aging schedules, and support collection activities.
- Assist in periodic stock opname and analyze any discrepancies.
- Record daily journal entries, including expenses, accruals, and prepaid transactions.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations and support monthly and year-end closing processes.
- Prepare data for internal financial reporting and provide support during audits.
Qualification
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Strong attention to detail, responsiveness, and experience handling high-volume transaction data.
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate level).
- The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- 0 - 1 year of experience (either internship or full-time will be preferred) in Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), or General Ledger (GL).
