About the Role
House of Tugu Jakarta is looking for a driven and personable Sales Executive, who is passionate about cultural hospitality and building meaningful client relationships. This role will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client accounts, and driving sales across rooms, events, and F&B offerings.
As a key member of the commercial team, the Sales Executive will represent the heart and soul of House of Tugu Jakarta to a wide range of audiences—from corporate clients and event planners to travel partners and boutique agencies. This is a highly interactive, client-facing role suited for someone who enjoys storytelling, relationship-building, and the art of persuasive yet sincere selling
Key Responsibilities :
Actively source and secure new business opportunities across all segments: rooms, events, private functions, and group bookings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, travel agents, event organizers, and corporate accounts.
Conduct sales calls, in-person meetings, site inspections, and presentations tailored to client needs and the Tugu brand narrative.
Respond promptly to inquiries and prepare tailored proposals, quotations, and follow-ups to convert leads into confirmed bookings.
Collaborate closely with the marketing and events team to align sales strategies with ongoing campaigns and promotions.
Maintain an organized pipeline and report regularly on sales performance, targets, and forecasts.
Represent House of Tugu Jakarta at trade shows, networking events, and client gatherings as needed.
Stay informed of competitor offerings, industry shifts, and market trends to continuously refine sales strategies.
Requirements :
Minimum 2–4 years of experience in sales, preferably in hospitality, lifestyle, or luxury service industries.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in both Bahasa Indonesia and English.
Strong negotiation and presentation skills, with an ability to tailor pitches based on client needs and emotional storytelling.
A natural people-person with high emotional intelligence, confidence, and professional presence.
Self-motivated and target-driven, with the ability to manage time and priorities independently.
Passion for hospitality, Indonesian culture, and soulful storytelling is highly valued.
