About the role
We are seeking a talented Corporate Legal professional to join our dynamic team at PT Abinaya Cahaya Semesta Indah in South Jakarta, Jakarta. As a member of our legal department, you will play a crucial role in providing strategic, high-quality, and timely legal support to our growing organisation. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of corporate and commercial matters, contributing to the overall success of the company.
What you'll be doing
Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of commercial agreements and legal instruments
Providing regulatory, corporate, and commercial advice to support the implementation of strategic initiatives
Assisting with investments, tenders, and other opportunities to deliver new and expanded services
Ensuring the company operates in accordance with legislative requirements, regulations, and internal policies
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks
Mentoring and supporting junior legal counsel, as needed
What we're looking for
2 years of post-qualification experience in a large commercial law firm or the in-house legal team of a complex organisation
Substantial expertise across a wide range of commercial legal practice areas, including contracts, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structuring, health services regulation, privacy law, and intellectual property
Proven ability to provide pragmatic, commercially focused legal advice to both operational staff and senior stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to balance working autonomously and in a collaborative team environment
Experience in supervising and coaching more junior legal counsel, if required
