Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Business, or related fields
5–8 years’ experience in building materials, construction chemicals, or waterproofing
Mandatory: Proven project sales via distributors and/or direct selling
Strong stakeholder exposure: contractors, applicators, developers, project owners
Well-established relationships with private developers
Solid tendering knowledge: pre-qualification, bidding, evaluation, award
Strong understanding of construction stages: structural to finishing
Advantage: Experience in infrastructure, industrial, or SOE projects
Target-oriented; delivers results through structured and disciplined sales processes
Hands-on CRM use for pipeline management, forecasting, and account tracking
Job Responsibilities:
1. Distributor & Project Sales Development
• Develop and manage key distributors focused on project-based waterproofing sales
• Establish joint business plans with distributors (targets, coverage areas, project focus)
• Ensure distributors are actively penetrating contractors, developers, and public/private projects
2. Project Acquisition & Management
• Identify, secure, and manage project pipelines (infrastructure, industrial, commercial, high-rise residential)
• Lead projects from:
• early engagement
• product recommendation & specification
• trial / mock-up
• technical approval
• PO, delivery, and execution
• Coordinate closely with technical, specifier, and supply chain teams
3. Key Account Management
• Act as the main point of contact for:
• key distributors
• key contractors
• selected developers and project owners
• Build long-term partnerships based on trust, value creation, and technical credibility
4. Pricing, Negotiation & Commercial Control
• Develop project pricing strategies aligned with management direction and project profiles
• Lead commercial negotiations while protecting margin, cash flow, and brand positioning
• Monitor distributor credit exposure, payment discipline, and business risk
5. Market Intelligence & Reporting
• Provide market insights on:
• competitors (e.g., Sika, Fosroc, BASF, etc.)
• pricing structures
• project and application trends
• Prepare and maintain:
• project pipeline reports
• monthly sales forecasts
• sales performance updates
