Serves as the school leader and is responsible for:

• All aspects of both academic and non-academic quality, including student achievement, teacher development, and academic operational excellence.

• Supporting the School Principal in the delivery of school strategic and operations objectives.

EDUCATION

• Bachelor Degree in Education or related field

• Master degree in Education or related field is an advantage.

EXPERIENCE

• Has more than 5 years of extensive experience in education, preferably having prior experience in teaching and school leadership

• Has minimum 3 years experience as a Vice Principal in any school Level

• Has an expertise to supervise, guidance, direction & teachers development

• Has experience as a Social Studies Teacher: Global Perspective & Sociology (Cambridge Curricula) is an advantage

KNOWLEDGE AND CHARACTER

• 7 Habits

• Deep understanding in Cambridge Curricula and other International curriculum

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• Excellent written and oral English

• Excellent interpersonal, leadership and communication skills

• Has the willingness to improve and learn continuously

• Is able to build and manage relationship with colleagues, team and government

• Is able to manage multiple priorities and handle unexpected situations professionally and successfully

• Is able to put effective and efficient system in place and produce accurate and timely reporting

• Has strong analytical and decision-making skill

• Is familiar with technology (computer-literate)

• Is a “hands on” supervisor and willing to exercise leadership and to coach potential teachers

• Is creative, passionate, enthusiastic, warm, and approachable

• Is able to meet work deadlines and manage conflicting priorities (grasp of Franklin Covey's 7 Habits).
