Job Description
Coordinate closely with the Head Office (HO) Import & Logistics team regarding import planning, shipment schedules, Incoterms, and required documentation for imported goods to Merauke.
Monitor and supervise the end-to-end import process, including customs clearance, port handling, freight forwarding coordination, and inland transportation to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
Oversee the Regional Office (RO) Logistics team in managing import documentation (PIB, BL/AWB, Invoice, Packing List, COO, etc.) and ensure compliance with Indonesian customs and regulatory requirements.
Prepare, maintain, and analyze detailed import shipment monitoring reports, including lead time, clearance duration, demurrage/detention risks, and landed cost analysis.
Identify bottlenecks in customs clearance, port operations, or documentation processes, and provide strategic recommendations to management to improve import efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Coordinate with external stakeholders such as freight forwarders, shipping lines, customs brokers, and relevant government authorities to ensure smooth import operations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in handling import processes and logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of import procedures, including customs clearance, red line handling, HS Code, and related regulations.
Proven experience in managing project cargo shipments and other imported goods.
Computer-literate with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table) and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills with strong leadership and team supervision capabilities.
Ability to work effectively under tight schedules and high-pressure environments.
