The Public Attendant at Reload Sanctuary plays a key role in creating a welcoming, safe, and positive experience for all visitors. This role involves assisting guests, maintaining public areas, providing accurate information, and upholding the sanctuary’s values of respect, care, and community engagement.
Greet visitors warmly and provide guidance, directions, and general information about Reload Sanctuary
Monitor public areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper use of facilities
Assist guests with inquiries, concerns, or special needs in a calm and professional manner
Enforce sanctuary rules and policies respectfully to maintain a safe and welcoming environment
Support events, programs, and activities by managing crowd flow and assisting attendees
Report incidents, maintenance issues, or safety concerns to supervisors promptly
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations
Represent Reload Sanctuary positively at all times
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or public-facing roles is an advantage
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
Ability to remain calm and courteous in busy or challenging situations
Basic problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to stand, walk, and perform light physical duties for extended periods
