To support our expansion in the Modern Trade Independent channel, we are seeking a result-driven Regional Account Manager (Sulawesi, Bali-Nusra, Maluku, Papua) who will lead regional growth initiatives, manage retail accounts, and drive distributor development across the assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow sales in the modern trade independent channel, including regional retail chains and standalone modern stores.
Build and maintain strong partnerships with key retail buyers, store managers, and regional chain stakeholders
Drive product availability, visibility, and in-store execution in line with brand guidelines.
Ensure efficient product distribution, order fulfillment, inventory planning, and credit control.
Develop and execute territory-specific sales and distribution plans, aligned with national objectives.
Analyze market potential, identify gaps, and recommend strategies to maximize retail footprint, sell-in, sell-through, and sell-out.
Lead annual and quarterly negotiations with retail partners and distributors — covering pricing, trade terms, margins, and promotional funding.
Plan and manage trade spends efficiently, ensuring positive ROI and compliance with budget.
Manage a team of Account Officers and field frontliners to ensure effective market execution.
Coordinate with marketing and trade marketing teams to implement product launches, in-store branding, planograms, and seasonal campaigns.
Monitor competitor activities, pricing, promotions, and customer feedback to identify market trends and opportunities.
Area Coverage : Sulawesi, Bali-Nusra, Maluku, Papua
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
5-8 years of relevant experience in FMCG, Beauty, or Personal Care, managing regional sales, modern trade, and distributor networks
Fluency in English is a must – both written and spoken
Strong understanding of the modern trade independent channel and distributor landscape
Proven leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Highly analytical with a data-driven mindset
Willing to be placed in targeted area within Makassar or Bali
Willingness to travel frequently across the assigned region
