TESTING ENGINEER (Power Transformer)

Job Description – Testing Engineer (Power Transformer)

Main Responsibilities:

Perform routine, special test and type testing of power transformers according to international standards (e.g. IEC, IEEE, ANSI)

Qualification Requirements:

Education:

Bachelor’s degree (S1) in Electrical Engineering, majoring in Power or High Voltage.

Experience:

Minimum 5 years of experience in high voltage electrical equipment testing (transformers, switchgear, circuit breakers, or similar power equipment), transformer power Master Padmounted Transformer (MPT) and quality assurance

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of power transformer design and testing standards (IEC 60076, IEEE C57).

• Familiar with high-voltage testing procedures and safety protocols.

• Basic understanding of electrical protection and measurement systems.

• Familiar with Electrical Drawings diagram and also the Interlock Trip designed for support funtional test.

• Skilled in using Microsoft Office and technical reporting.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Attention to detail and high accuracy.

• Good communication skills (English & Bahasa Indonesia).

• Ability to work independently or in a team.

• Discipline, safety-oriented, and willing to work under pressure or overtime if needed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in transformer testing or Electrical Specialist (AK3 Listrik)

• Experience in FAT Reporting, in power transformer manufacturing

• Familiarity with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards.
