We are seeking an experienced cook or chef who can manage the culinary operations for our villas in Seminyak. Responsibilities include menu creation, staff supervision, ingredient procurement, and overall kitchen management.
Our concept is to serve meals directly at the dining tables inside our villas. The kitchen is part of a complex with 9 villas (20 rooms) and also serves our other villas which are located nearby in Seminyak.
Key Responsibilities
Create menus, including Indonesian and Western dishes
Supervise and train a small team of kitchen staff
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety
Ensure guest satisfaction through high food quality, timely delivery and talking to guests
Handle purchasing and inventory management
Budget and cost control
Qualifications & Skills
Experience in the key responsibilities above
Expertise in Indonesian dishes and a selection of Western/international dishes
Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen management practices (high standards are expected)
Ability to work independently and make decisions under minimal supervision
Leadership and team management skills
Effective communication skills in English
Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and extended hours if needed
Ability to make cocktails (optional)
