Purchase Staff

We are a Metal Scrap Recycling Unit. We are looking for Purchasing staff that will coordinate the deals between the suppliers and the company. The work will require regular visitations to other cities.

VISITATION, INCLUDING OTHER CITIES: This is the most important requirement. You will be required to visit various suppliers around the jabodetabek area as well as nearby cities in Central Java & East Java. The trips to other cities will usually be 3-4 days long and will happen once-twice a month. The remaining days would be spread between visiting Jabodetabek and Researching new supplier info online at the company office.

SPOKEN ENGLISH PROFICIENCY is another requirement for this job. Please only apply if you are confident in communicating in English without using translator.

The purchase work consists of the following:
- Learning the intricate details of our raw materials (we shall teach you)
- Conducting market research to identify potential suppliers and evaluate their products.
- Visiting Other cities in Indonesia to meet the suppliers. Visitation around Jabodetabek will also be required.
- Negotiating and securing favorable terms and pricing with suppliers.
- Maintaining records of orders, purchases and delivery schedules.
- General office admin and coordination work.
