Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 4 years of experience in public relations or media relations either in-house or agency.
- Ability to communicate in English and Indonesian fluently to support client relationship management in this region.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience with AI tools and ability to use AI to drive productivity, creativity, and innovation.
- Experience piloting new technologies or workflows and ability to navigate ambiguity and adapting to a fluid digital landscape.
- Understanding how to prompt and refine AI outputs to draft content frameworks, conduct landscape research, or summarize documents.
- Ability to build media relationships and shaping stories that drive conversations and understanding of the regional media environment.
- Ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across different departments and to work on multiple priorities, managing budgets, and building relationships with multiple key stakeholders.
About the jobAs a member of the Global Communications & Public Affairs team, you will work cross-functionally to help communicate with journalists and other thought leaders; devise specific communications materials and campaigns; engage in face-to-face meetings with commentators and other opinion formers; and develop print and web-based material supporting these campaigns. Responsibilities
- Represent the business as a spokesperson. Gather, and draft responses to editorial inquiries, utilizing AI tools to collate background information and sentiment analysis to inform your approach.
- Create clear, concise, and differentiated communications plans and materials (emails, pitches, social copy). Use technology to improve the localization process.
- Track and analyze the impact of communication efforts. Move beyond basic metrics by utilizing AI-driven insights to analyze sentiment, predict trends, and refine communication strategies based on real-time data.
- Work with country teams to secure coverage for major initiatives. Act as a daily product expert, helping teams communicate user benefits and respond to issues and escalations with speed and accuracy.
- Integrate generative tools into your daily workflow to enhance creativity, improve operational efficiency (e.g., drafting, translating, formatting), and drive data-backed storytelling, while upholding Google’s AI Principles.
